About the lesson

My teaching method is universal among all the subjects that I teach: The Socratic Method. While I understand that the Socratic Method is a rather frustrating method for many, even to myself, I have found it to be the most efficient way in which students not only "learn" the material, but actually understand it. Furthermore, by utilizing a teaching method in which the student essentially answers their own questions, it better prepares them for the future, in which they won't be as able to depend on others to help them succeed in their classes.

About Mohamad

Over the past 3 years, I have tutored nearly 5 semesters worth of Biology Students, in both Lecture and Lab material by joining them during class times to answer questions and assist the professor. Furthermore, I held various sessions throughout the week where I answered students questions, provided practice quizzes and exams, and gave advice on various study techniques to help the students succeed.

As a teammate, he was able to help my partner and I build a strong foundation in Parliamentary debate that allowed us to win gold the next day. As a peer, he constantly offers guidance and support. On multiple occasions, he was able to recognize when I struggled to understand conversations in politics or struggled with concepts in math, and every time, he offered a helping hand. He is patient in explaining the concepts, breaking it down, and implementing his own experiences in order to help you grasp the idea well enough to retain and apply it.
