About the lesson

I have the most fun with my instrument when I make rapid progress with something I'm learning. I want my students to have that same experience. Seeing results motivates us to practice more. I want my students to get into this positive spiral of success, so they can progress faster than anyone around them.

I have no specific method that I use for every student. I design lesson plans depending on a student's current skill level and music goals.

I enjoy teaching beginners and intermediate guitarists. It gives me the chance to correct any bad habits and show them methods that work and speed up their progress with the instrument.

I also like helping advanced players getting through plateaus, by showing them systems and approaches to the instrument that they may not know about yet.

I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2002 (Magna Cum Laude). My Majors were Guitar Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production. I have taught hundreds of students since graduating, because teaching other aspiring guitarists is what I enjoy doing the most!

I improved my playing techniques in his lessons and he gave me many helpful hints about scale shapes and music theory. In my opinion he is an excellent guitar teacher.
