About the lesson
specialist in fine tuning A persons expressiveness and shaping of a musical line. What I’ll typically do in a lesson depends on your experience. If you are learning a technically challenging piece of music or are a beginner we will focus on slowly working on challenging Note and rhythm progressions at a slow pace to improve your ability to play difficult rhythms. if you are an intermediate or higher player we will focus on time and what I call “relative pitch” . for a bit it would feel like your revisiting beginner class but After about two sessions we would move in to playing call and response resulting in the most Important skill in the modern era of playing. Improv and sight reading. Can’t wait to show you this new world of music see you soon!

About Thomas
Hi my name is Thomas and I’m a 17 year old high schooler from Jacksonville Florida. I’ve played the saxophone since I was 11 and have turned it into my job in high school. I’ma street performer in the San Marco area who has mastered the ability to Improv if not play any song regardless of if I’ve ever heard it before. This type of playing requires a mastery of my instrument technically and an even more intense knowledge of what emotions I can trigger in my listener in a short amount of time as a teacher

Thomas has been playing the saxophone for 6 years. He has also been in band for 6 years. He is very reliable and always on time to events. As one of his friends I can assure you that he is a wonderful person, who is very passionate about music and would excel at teaching people how to play the saxophone. He has many siblings and works very well with children. He is a very patient and kind young man and anyone would be lucky to have him as their saxophone teacher.
Thomas is a talented player who has a passion for music. He is a patient teacher and mentor. Would definitely recommend.
Thomas is new to teaching but his performance skills are stellar. He is very good with people and always does his best to be friendly and encouraging.
