- I'm comfortable teaching basic biology to anyone from elementary grades to undergraduates in college.

- I know how to figure out exactly why concepts aren't making sense for you, and create techniques specifically tailored to your learning style

- My focus during our sessions is to make sure you're comfortable with your specific course material

- My favorite teaching methods include: drawing biological structures or processes together, creating concept maps, making short practice quizzes for students, and coming up with mnemonics and memorable phrases to help students remember concepts well.

Hi there! I'm Christine Shashikanth, and I'm so excited to get to know you!

I've been tutoring peers in a variety of different subjects since I was 12 years old. Over my experience, I've gained a deep love for the field of biology and my passion is to impart the excitement I feel for this subject to all of my students. My career goal is to become a Professor of Biology at a university one day!

Coming from an underprivileged background, I've had to teach myself subjects for as long as I can remember. I know what it's like to feel stuck and alone in school, so I want to do everything in my power to create a collaborative experience where I can truly be your partner in learning
