About the lesson
In my experience, I have learned that people develop their own styles of fighting so, I try to develop around each person’s style and skills. For every class that I have taught, I always log each student’s advantages and disadvantages and build around it. Styles that develop are usually between in-fighters, counter fighters, or out-fighters.
Generally, classes start off with half exercise (since boxing is very workout intensive) and half technical practice. Technical training will involve everything that is loved within the sport: punching, clinching, movement, ect.

About Jacob
I started boxing while I was in the Army, since 2015. Ever since, I have dedicated myself to the sport. In 2017, I became the president of the Georgia Southern University Boxing Club and still hold that position. On average, every semester I teach about 40 students. These students have either built a strong skill in self-defense, gained new skills to add to their workout, or even move on to compete through USA Boxing. I am also an official member of USA Boxing and am certified through them as a coach. I have held this position since 2019 and have used it to give students a starting point in developing a competitive career.
