About Yewande

I've been teaching for over 5 years and love what I do. Before the pandemic I was teaching at 2 different studios in Atlanta GA but now I’m doing 1on1 sessions via zoom and private in person sessions. I can do groups as well as long as masks are worn or if it’s an outdoor setting. My class is not just a dance class but also incorporates fitness so you get a workout.

Perfect! Learning with Yewande was fun and engaging.
My wife and I needed a dance tutor to help us prepare for our wedding first dance. We reached out to Yewande and within a 2 week period , Yewande was able to prepare a dance routine for us and patiently taught my wife and I the dance steps in a simple , easy to comprehend and fun approach. Yewande was able to understand some of our weakness and helped us work through it quickly. She was also quite patient with us as we were not professional dancers. Yewande is friendly and I highly recommend her as a good tutor.

Perfect! YaYa is very patient and was able to accommodate my physical and strengths and weaknesses in dancing. She understood we are not all built the same nor have to same expertise levels, but yet, She was able to fulfill teach me the most simplest steps of choreography that looked amazing for my wedding. Very please with the experience with her!

Perfect! Yewande is hands down the best Dance instructor on Superprof. I've been rockin with her for some time now near weekly. And I've found that her ability to creatively describe the dance moves and to approach them is like no other. When I'm stuck on a step that I’m just not getting, she knows how to compare it to another natural movement in her instructions, that helps me bridge that gap to picking the dance step up. When teaching Yewande pitched the technique at my level (It’s the first dance lesson I’ve ever taken). Her high experience level is clear as she was able to teach while still keeping things fun.

I’m a PT myself and have been delivering my sessions by Zoom and know how difficult it can be, I’d highly recommend taking lessons with Yewande. I will be taking more lessons and I’ve even got my brother doing lesson with Yewande too.
