In addition to above education, I have traveled throughout Mexico. I have many friends there, with whom I have stayed weekends or periods of 1 week speaking only Spanish. I attend regularly a group in San Antonio that meets two times per month to practice my Spanish. I have also taken many Spanish classes at the Academy of Learning in Retirement (ALIR), which offers continuing education for seniors. I have read many books and newspaper and magazine articles in Spanish.
