About the lesson
My teaching method is focused on the student's needs, learning capabilities, learning habits and style. I don't believe that every student learns the same way. I approach different types of students with different, creative styles of teaching and engagement. I try to acknowledge other external or internal pressures that might interfere with their learning capabilities in order to best relieve them and redirect their attention to a more positive experience. Last but not least, I always use positive reinforcement and language while I teach. I am very creative with my approaches because I desire to make it a fun, learning engagement process for the student.

About Nina
I am an undergraduate student at UCLA. I will be receiving my dual degree in June of 2021. I'm looking forward to working with all types of students within their academics. I have experience tutoring and assisting students within grade school to college for the past 3 years. I've worked in my nearby school district and have been vetted through the Background Check, obtained CPR/AED certificate, and have mandated reporting training. I've had the opportunity to assist those with behavioral and learning disabilities. I've also tutored those at UCLA in prep for Honors classes. I am willing to create new teaching methods that best fits the student's needs. I'm organized, patient, and have excellent communication skills. I would be very honored to help others obtain a quality learning experience.
